The Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) has been urged to expedite the full implementation of the e-visa system. This push is part of a broader effort to boost tourism and meet the target of 7.7 million visitors by the end of 2024, The e-visa system, which allows for a more streamlined and convenient visa application process, is seen as a critical step in achieving this goal.
