The Bhutan Film Institute (BFI) introduced the launch of the Kingdom of Bhutan International Film Festival (KBIFF). 

Slated for 17 to 23 September, the KBIFF opens the nation to film lovers, business professionals, in addition to travellers looking for to expertise Bhutan’s distinctive tradition for themselves. 

As such, the festival marks a big milestone in Bhutan’s cultural panorama, showcasing the ability of cinema to encourage, educate, and entertain. 

According to festival director Tshering Phuntsho: “This festival celebrates creativity and storytelling, and we are excited to bring together filmmakers and audiences from around the globe to our beautiful country.”

The KBIFF’s organisers plan to function a various number of movies from around the globe, showcasing the abilities of each rising and established filmmakers. Film screenings can be held between 20 and 22 September

Festival highlights embody the opening gala in Paro on 19 September; workshops and panel discussions with filmmakers and business professionals; and the awarding ceremony which wraps up the occasion on the twenty third, celebrating cinematic achievements amongst individuals.
